Hair Curls + Extensions

Man, I'm really considering getting hair extensions. I've been trying to find tutorials on how to get the casual gyaru curls, but it's not working for me. I mean the curls actually turn out the way I want, only AFTER I wake up. I've seen a lot of youtube videos that shows how to curl gyaru hair, and they show the same type of curls, and it's not what I am looking for. So I am really thinking, "maybe its because my hair isn't long enough".
I wish I could go to Taiwan this summer, to get cheap extensions. I've already wasted a month doing summer school. Ugh...
